The launched space-saving plug-and-play system is pre-configured and ready for use at any time. It can operate as a standalone workstation or in semi-automatic mode, equipped with high-quality components of Weber ultrasonic, and has multiple uses and configuration possibilities.
The required tools and materials
When performing soldering with a manual soldering workstation, the following tools and materials are usually required:
Tools: Soldering tip (connected to the soldering iron, with different shapes such as straight tip, knife-shaped, and bevel cut, used for applying solder), soldering pen, soldering iron stand (for holding the soldering iron), solder absorber (for removing excess or incorrect solder at the solder joints), solder wire (for cleaning solder joints in tight Spaces), third-hand tool (equipped with a clamping device and magnifying glass, for fixing and magnifying the working object Free your hands for fine operations, hot air gun (for SMD soldering or disassembly), thermometer/thermal imager (to monitor soldering temperature), cleaning sponge or copper wire ball (to clean soldering iron tips), cleaner (to clean residual flux on circuit boards), soldering protection pad (to protect the workbench surface).
Materials: Solder wire (soldering material, usually an alloy of tin and lead, lead-free solder wire is now widely used), flux (helps solder flow and prevents metal oxidation, which can be liquid, paste or embedded in the solder wire).
Operation steps
Preparatory work:
Ensure that the working area is clean and well-ventilated, and that equipment and tools are properly placed.
Select the appropriate solder wire and solder pen according to the welding task.
Place the soldering pen on the soldering table or soldering oven and adjust it to the appropriate working temperature.
Use tools such as a scraper or cotton gauze to clean the surface of the joint to ensure good wettability of the solder.
Welding process:
Gently touch the hot tip of the solder pen to the joint. After the solder melts, apply it evenly to the joint.
Wait for the solder to cool and solidify to ensure that the soldering is completely completed.
Subsequent cleaning: After completing the soldering task, gently clean the hot tip of the soldering pen with a damp cloth or sponge, and then place it back on the soldering table or in the soldering oven.
Safety Precautions
Make sure to use approved equipment and tools, keep the working environment well-ventilated, and avoid inhaling harmful gases.
Pay attention to the safe operation of power supply and equipment to prevent electric shock or equipment damage.
When welding, pay attention to anti-scalding and protection. Wear protective gloves, goggles, etc. to avoid accidents such as burns and fires.
