1. The First Contact
Every project starts with a conversation.
The customer first contacted I.T.T – Shenzhen Yufuxin Technology Co., Ltd. with plans to improve their PCB assembly capability and establish a more efficient SMT production line.
During the initial communication, our sales and technical team discussed several important factors with the customer, including:
PCB size and product specifications
Component types
Expected production capacity
SMT process requirements
Required inspection systems
Available factory space
New or used equipment requirements
Production line budget
Future expansion plans
Instead of immediately recommending individual machines, our team first focused on understanding the customer's complete manufacturing process.
"Our goal was to understand what the customer actually needed before recommending the equipment."
After several rounds of technical communication, our engineering team developed a production line configuration according to the customer's requirements.
The proposed solution covered the major stages of the PCB assembly process:
PCB Loading → Solder Paste Printing → SPI Inspection → Pick & Place → Reflow Soldering → AOI Inspection → PCB Handling
Depending on the customer's product requirements, the production line can also be integrated with DIP and through-hole assembly processes.
The objective was not simply to provide individual machines, but to create a complete and coordinated SMT production workflow.
3. Equipment Selection and Project Discussion
Once the preliminary solution was confirmed, our sales and engineering teams worked closely with the customer to finalize the equipment configuration.
Technical discussions included:
Machine specifications
Production capacity
Component compatibility
PCB dimensions
Feeder configuration
Inspection requirements
Reflow profile requirements
Conveyor integration
Factory layout
Installation requirements
For international customers, communication is especially important.
Time-zone differences, shipping requirements, local factory conditions, and operator experience all need to be considered before the equipment is shipped.
For many customers, seeing the equipment operating in person provides the confidence needed before making a major investment.
During the customer's visit to our facility, the customer had the opportunity to:
Our sales team also accompanied the customer throughout the factory visit and technical discussions.
After the order was confirmed, the project entered the preparation stage.
Our team began preparing the equipment for shipment.
Before delivery, the machines were inspected and tested according to the agreed project requirements.
The preparation process included:
Equipment Inspection
↓
Machine Testing
↓
Configuration Confirmation
↓
Software / Parameter Check
↓
Production Line Integration
↓
Final Inspection
↓
Export Packing
↓
Shipment
This stage is particularly important for international projects because proper preparation can significantly simplify the installation process at the customer's factory.
After final inspection, the equipment was carefully packed and prepared for international shipment.
For overseas projects, I.T.T can coordinate the export process, including:
The equipment was then transported to the customer's factory for installation.
7. Installation at the Customer's Factory
When the equipment arrived at the customer's facility, the next stage of the project began: installation and commissioning.
Our technical team worked with the customer's production and engineering personnel to complete the setup.
The installation process included:
Equipment positioning
Conveyor connection
Machine alignment
Power connection
Air supply connection
Software setup
Parameter configuration
Production line communication
Initial testing
The goal was to ensure that the equipment was not only installed individually, but that the entire production line operated as an integrated system.
Installation is only the beginning.
The most important stage is making sure that the production line can actually run the customer's products.
During commissioning, our technical team worked with the customer to verify:
Where necessary, process parameters were adjusted according to the customer's actual PCB and component configuration.
9. Successful Trial Production
After installation and commissioning, the customer conducted the first trial production.
The PCB successfully passed through the complete SMT process.
Printing → Inspection → Placement → Reflow → AOI
The production line completed the trial run successfully.
This was an important moment for both the customer and our team.
The project had moved from:
Inquiry
→ Technical Discussion
→ Solution Design
→ Equipment Selection
→ Factory Inspection
→ Delivery
→ Installation
→ Commissioning
→ Successful Trial Production
Following the successful trial production, the customer expressed satisfaction with the equipment configuration, technical communication, and installation support provided by the I.T.T team.
For us, the most important result was not simply completing the equipment delivery.
It was seeing the customer's production line running successfully.
A successful project is not finished when the machine arrives at the factory. It is finished when the customer can successfully put the equipment into production.
11. A Photo That Represents the Partnership
At the completion of the project, the overseas customer representatives and the I.T.T sales and technical team took a group photograph.
